It is ideal for securing primary dressings, IV tubes, and hot/cold packs around elbows, shoulders, and other joints. The elasticity of the bandage allows for easier removal of pads and re-dressing without having to remove the bandage. The gentle pressure provided by the bandage holds materials in place without the need for adhesives, and the open-weave, small-stitch material allows for air flow and reduces the spread of infection. Each box contains one small shoulder elastic bandage, and each case includes 10 boxes.
