The McKesson Hydrocellular Foam Dressing with Silicone Adhesive is highly conformable and remains intact on the skin. The perforated silicone gel adhesive provides gentle but firm adhesion, while the soft silicone minimizes pain to patients and trauma to wounds upon removal. This dressing affixes securely to dry, intact skin, sealing the wound margins to help prevent exudate from leaking on surrounding tissue and minimizing the risk of maceration. The breathable outer film layer is moisture and bacteria resistant, and the absorbent inner hydrocellular foam pad maintains a moist wound environment to promote better healing. Additionally, the dressing may be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties.
