It incorporates safety connectors to reduce the risk of accidental connection of an IV system to the enteral system or vice versa. This tube set is used to connect a button-style gastrostomy tube to a pump set for the administration of nutrition, hydration, and medication. It features a single ENFit port with a right-angle g-tube connector for bolus feeding, flushing, and medication delivery. The ISO-compliant ENFit connector is designed to reduce the risk of tubing misconnections (ISO 80369-3). The tube set is comprised of a hollow tube with a secure lock connector and ENFit ports at the end. The ENFit port connects to the delivery source of nutrition, while the secure lock connector connects to a gastric feeding device. The secure lock connectors are compatible with any gastric feeding device with a connection ring, including MIC Key and MINI One low-profile gastrostomy feeding tubes. The tube set is intended to connect to ENFit and common low-profile devices. It measures 24 inches in length and is non-sterile. Additionally, it is not made with natural rubber latex, bisphenol A, diethylhexyl-phthalate (DEHP), or phthalate plasticizers.
