This dressing can fill or pack the dead space in a wound and requires a secondary dressing to hold it in place and protect the wound from outside contaminants. The optimal gelling profile of this dressing prevents sticking to the wound bed and maintains physical integrity for easy removal in one piece. Highly absorptive and non-occlusive, it can be trimmed to fit wound dimensions.
