The McKesson Bariatric Premium Molded Foam Seat Cushion features a 3-inch design made of pressure-sensitive molded high density polyurethane foam topped with a gel-infused visco/memory foam layer. The waterproof, low-shear stretch nylon cover allows air to pass through while resisting fluids for lasting breathability, comfort, and durability. The cushion is specifically designed to optimize pressure relief by allowing the user's pressure points to immerse into the gel-infused visco-foam top layer. Molded leg troughs promote thigh alignment and postural symmetry, while a raised front ridge helps promote proper positioning and control sliding. The open-cell visco memory foam provides breathability, while the gel acts as a cooling agent for temperature control and mitigating perspiration. The cushion is 24 inches wide and can provide pressure relief for up to 325 lbs. It comes with adjustable safety straps with buckles to maintain appropriate position and add security. Additionally, it is not made with natural rubber latex.
