Allevyn Life from Smith & Nephew is a versatile foam dressing with a wide border for a secure, custom fit. It is suitable for exuding wounds and pressure ulcers, featuring a gentle silicone adhesive border. The dressing is comprised of five layers: Silicone adhesive, hydro cellular foam, hyper absorbent padding layer, protective layer, and a breathable top film. It is easy to apply, remove, and can be repositioned without losing adherence. Sacrum dressings can be worn for up to 5 days, while other wound locations can be covered for up to 7 days, depending on the wound and exudate level.
